About Akif Ayberk Akcay, MD

Dr. Akif Ayberk Akçay is a certified plastic surgeon in Erzincan, Turkey, specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He received his medical examination from Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2014 and completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, where he was awarded the title of Specialist Doctor in 2019.

Dr. Akçay practiced for a total of 550 days in Sinop Atatürk State Hospital, specializing in rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics, and abdominoplasty. His desire to further advance his skills in aesthetic surgery led him to Istanbul to join Istinye University GOP Medical Park Hospital prior to opening his private practice in 2022 at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital, where he is currently working. Dr. Akçay has specialties, among others, such as rhinoplasty, facelift, breast aesthetics (with and without implants), abdominoplasty, liposuction, buttock shaping, and body contouring. Although Dr. Akçay aims to reflect precision and artistry in these procedures, he also acknowledges the patients’ needs and desires for naturalness and aesthetics.
