About Alanna Marie Rebecca

Dr. Alanna Marie Rebecca, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a concentration in complex cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, including breast reconstruction, reconstruction following cancer, and advances in aesthetic procedures. She is also recognized internationally for her microsurgical expertise and innovation in microsurgical techniques, leading to improved patient outcomes.

She performs surgery primarily on breast surgery (DIEP flap procedures, breast augmentation), facial rejuvenation, minimally invasive facial procedures, eyelid blepharoplasty, cancer reconstruction and Mohs reconstruction, lymph node transfer, lymphovenous bypass and lymphedema treatment, reconstructive surgery of the lower extremities, trunk, perineum, and head and neck. In addition, she provides robotics and advanced cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Rebecca is recognized as an innovator, having co-invented the 3D nipple-areola tattoo stencil and pioneered post-mastectomy resensation. She served as the Chair for the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona from 2018 to 2021, and is currently a board member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Rebecca received her MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowships in the field of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at multiple prestigious locations, including the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, University of Gent in Belgium, and the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Rebecca uses her practice as a surgeon, her research ideas and innovations, to support, guide and provide transformational, patient-centered care, in the fields of both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.
