About Alejandro J. Quiroz, MD

Alejandro J. Quiroz, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 37 years of experience and is known for his specialties in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and aesthetic surgery. He is also the founder of Cosmed Clinic (1989) and Vida Wellness and Beauty (2013), where he has built a reputation for focusing on providing approaches that are personalized to help patients feel more confident and achieve a look that is most natural to them.

Dr. Quiroz graduated with honors from Universidad La Salle in Mexico City, earning his medical doctorate. He entered a General Surgery Residency at the National University of Mexico before completing a three-year Plastic Surgery fellowship at the National University of Mexico. He also completed a program for foreign medical graduates at the University of Miami School of Medicine. In 1984, he received Board Certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Quiroz is well-known for completing over 3,000 facelift procedures and is an expert in advanced procedures like the Deep Plane Facelift, where he repositions deeper tissues of the face to achieve soft, natural results that last a long time. He also specializes in neck lifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), breast augmentation and lift, tummy tucks, buttock augmentation and post-bariatric body contouring.

Dr. Quiroz completed his education, training, and fellowship with leaders in the field of plastic surgery in the US, including Dr. Bruce Cornell. Utilizing his wealth of knowledge, surgical skills, and aesthetic interest, he provides safe, effective and personalized surgical care. He believes in providing care to help patients look and feel their best, and improve the characteristics of a person’s appearance, which in turn enhances their self-confidence.
