About Ashwani Kumar, MBBS, MS, MCh

Dr. Ashwani Kumar is one of the most accomplished Plastic Surgeons in India. He has received rigorous education and training in both general and advanced surgical techniques. He originally received his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Delhi, and after completion of his medical degree, he continued his education by doing a Master of Surgery (MS) where he built up considerable surgical knowledge and gained Clinical Judgement to be able to provide excellent surgical care. After completing his MS, he completed a Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Plastic Surgery at The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai (the recognized Super-specialty qualification for Plastic Surgeons in India).

In addition to this, Dr. Kumar has also studied and obtained a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi (India) where he further developed his skills in Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Kumar’s extensive training enables him to perform many different types of reconstructive surgery, as well as Aesthetic Surgery, and gives him the expertise to perform both procedures with maximum precision and safety.

Dr. Kumar is currently registered to practice medicine in India as per the provisions of the Delhi Medical Council, and he is also a member of various organisations that promote Professional Development and enhance Clinical Quality. In particular, Dr. Kumar is a member of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) and is affiliated to various Local Medical Committees therefore demonstrating Dr. Kumar’s commitment to achieving and maintaining high ethical standards in Medicine and Clinical Practice.
