About Ashish Ghuge, MBBS

Ashish Ghuge, MBBS, is a plastic and cosmetic surgeon consultant based in South Mumbai. He specializes in body, breast, and face surgeries and aims at restoration of harmony and normalcy through reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Ghuge did his MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and postgraduation in General Surgery from Sir H. N. Hospital and Research Centre. He went on to do super-specialty training in Plastic Surgery at Bangalore Medical College and Victoria Hospital, where he was awarded a gold medal for topping his university exit exam. To further hone his skills, he has trained at reputed centers across India and internationally: Tata Memorial Hospital for microvascular reconstruction, Ganga Hospital for hand and extremity reconstruction, Medanta Hospital for cosmetic surgery, and Samsung Medical Centre, Seoul, for breast reconstruction.

He has performed more than 500 microvascular and local flap reconstructions, such as those of the breast, head and neck, and extremities, with a wide experience in aesthetic surgery, including mammaplasty, body contouring, rhinoplasty, gynecomastia, abdominoplasties, liposuction, and non-surgical treatments, including lasers, Botox, fillers, and threads.

He also holds honorary consultant positions in Saifee Hospital, Bhatia Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, Asian Cancer Institute, Cumballa Hill Hospital, and St Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Ghuge is a member of leading professional associations in plastic and aesthetic surgery and endeavors with equal interest in research, publications, and teaching.
