Dr. Adeshola D. Fakulujo, MD, FACS, is a physician in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is a board-certified general surgeon and specializes in Bariatrics as well as Advanced GI Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Fakulujo received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan and completed his general surgery residency at Harlem Hospital Center, New York.
Dr. Fakulujo continued his training by completing an Advanced GI Minimally Invasive Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, Florida. Here, he developed his skills in complex laparoscopic procedures as well as many other minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Fakulujo’s areas of clinical interest are in the areas of Gastrointestinal Surgery, GI Reflux (GERD), Bariatric Surgery and Transoral Robotic Surgery.
Dr. Fakulujo performs many different types of surgical procedures, and he emphasizes patient-centered care based on evidence. Additionally, Dr. Fakulujo has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, including articles discussing outcomes and complications associated with Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Fakulujo is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and has active medical licenses in New Jersey, Florida and Virginia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
