Dr. Aileen Miyoko Takahashi, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with considerable experience in general surgery and surgical weight loss (bariatric surgery). She graduated from NY Medical College and completed her general surgery residency at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center.
Dr. Takahashi holds active California medical licenses and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American College of Surgeons. Among her contributions are a number of peer-reviewed articles relating to bariatric surgery, as well as research on obesity treatment strategies and outcome studies on laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery.
