Dr. Anne Hardy-Henry is a board-certified, qualified surgeon who focuses on bariatric surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced gastrointestinal surgeries. In attaining her Doctor of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine, Dr. Hardy-Henry received a strong foundation in providing patient-centered surgical care and clinical excellence.
Dr. Hardy-Henry completed her General Surgery residency at The University of California, at San Francisco (East Bay) where she was developed skills in complex surgeries as well as minimally invasive surgery, both being valuable skills for her current practice. After completing her residency, Dr. Hardy-Henry pursued a fellowship in bariatric surgery and minimally invasive surgery at The University of Ottawa, where she has further developed expertise in modern surgical techniques that can be used to achieve successful outcomes in the long term for patients with obesity and related metabolic diseases.
Dr. Hardy-Henry has obtained certification from the American Board of Surgery and is committed to providing evidence-based personalized care for patients who are interested in undergoing surgical interventions for obesity and obesity-related disease. Her clinical emphasis includes laparoscopic surgery, metabolic surgery and advanced surgical techniques that allow patients to recover more quickly and to be at lower risk than with traditional surgical procedures.
