Dr. Asha Bale, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in advanced gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Located in Hackensack, New Jersey, she is an active physician at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Bale focuses on providing patient-centered care by applying the latest laparoscopic techniques to increase the accuracy of her surgical procedures, decrease recovery time, and improve long-term outcomes for her patients. Dr. Bale’s areas of expertise include general and gastrointestinal surgery, minimally invasive procedures, global health initiatives, and medical education.
Dr. Bale graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1995 and completed her General Surgery residency at Rutgers Health/New Jersey Medical School from 1995 to 2000. To further enhance her surgical experience, Dr. Bale completed a one-year fellowship in Advanced GI Minimally Invasive Surgery at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2003, where she received specialized training in innovative techniques for the treatment of complex gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Bale is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, New York, and Louisiana.
