About Ariel E. Rodriguez

Dr. Ariel E. Rodriguez is a skilled general surgeon and has been specializing in advanced surgical care for over 14 years and is known for his extensive experience with bariatric (weight loss) surgery, as well as his proficiency in performing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, which allow for quicker recovery times and better results for his patients. Dr. Rodriguez strives to provide individualized, patient-centered care to ensure that each of his patients achieves their health goals through customized treatments.

Dr. Rodriguez received his medical degree (MD) with honors from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). He completed his surgical residency training at Creighton University School of Medicine and Huntington Memorial Hospital. He then pursued an advanced minimally invasive GI fellowship at the University of South Florida Morsani.

Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is currently licensed to practice medicine in Florida, California, and Virginia. He is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and is an active member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).

Dr. Rodriguez speaks both Spanish and English fluently and has a strong commitment to assisting diverse groups of patients to achieve better health and quality of life. His affiliations include many hospitals throughout the United States, including Delray Medical Center, where he is currently employed as an attending physician.
