About Aleksandr Shteynberg, MD

Dr. Aleksandr Shteynberg is a board-certified plastic surgeon with formal training in general surgery and plastic surgery. He is known for his skillful precision and gentle bedside manner. As Founder of Vantage Plastic Surgery, Dr. Shteynberg leads a team devoted to offering the latest techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery while supporting a patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Shteynberg feels that choosing the right surgeon is a very important decision, and his practice prioritizes safety, skill, and natural-appearing results.

Dr. Shteynberg graduated cum laude from New York University and completed his medical and surgical training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. His specialized plastic and reconstructive training was completed at Long Island Plastic Surgery Group, one of the largest and most respected plastic surgery groups in the country.

He is associated with Lenox Hill Hospital, NYU, New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is also the Director of Plastic Surgery at Kings County Hospital and practices breast reconstruction in breast cancer patients, as well. He is also a clinical assistant professor who trains surgeons and works on academic research.

Dr. Shteynberg is recognized for providing his patients with personalized care, thorough planning, and a warm presence. His goal is to help patients feel informed, empowered, and confident throughout the aesthetic process.
