About Alan M. Freedman, MD

Dr. Alan M. Freedman is an accomplished plastic surgeon and board-certified surgeon with over 20 years of surgical expertise and practice located in Great Neck, NY. He is affiliated with a variety of hospitals, including Long Island Jewish Medical Center at Northwell Health and NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.

Dr. Freedman obtained his MD from the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School and completed his general surgery and plastic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Kentucky, Texas Medical Branch, and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Freedman has also completed a surgical fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to refine his skill and knowledge base of complex reconstructive surgery (including microsurgery).
