Dr. Armen K. Kasabian is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Northwell Health. He also serves as the Associate Chair of Surgery at Hofstra/Northwell’s Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine. As Program Director for the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at Hofstra/Northwell, Dr. Kasabian will help train the next generation of patient-centered surgeons. Dr. Kasabian speaks both Armenian and English, and he dedicates his time and efforts to help improve the health care of all patients. He frequently volunteers with Healing the Children and Medical Missions for Children to provide surgical care for children throughout the world.
Dr. Kasabian graduated from Cornell University Medical College with an MD, completed his residency training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at New York University School of Medicine as the Chief Resident for both residency programs, and completed a Microsurgery Fellowship at NYU. He earned his Dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Management and Life Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Dr. Kasabian has received numerous awards, including Newsday’s Top Doctors on Long Island, Best Doctor, and 10 Best Plastic Surgeons, among others. He is also a detail-oriented, compassionate, and excellent surgeon and has earned the respect of his colleagues and patients.
