About Antonio Luis Uria, MD

Dr. Antonio L. Uria is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who has completed all qualifications with integrity and excellence. He graduated cum laude from Boston University and earned his medical doctor degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. After completing a General Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami, where he served as Chief Resident, he completed a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, also where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Uria is recognized as a leader in utilizing the latest surgical techniques and technology in the field of Plastic Surgery. He recently completed the Maintenance of Certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery with a 99% Pass Rate that attests to his commitment to delivering quality care. He is affiliated with clinical appointments through North Shore University Hospital, Glen Cove Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, NYU Winthrop Hospital, South Nassau Communities Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Dr. Uria is currently a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the Nassau Surgical Society, and the Nassau County Medical Society.
