About Allison Elaine Lied

In the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Allison E. Lied, MD, is a certified plastic surgeon. She opened Holzapfel & Lied Plastic Surgery in Madisonville in 2007 to provide personalized, quality care with a focus on body contouring, facial rejuvenation and breast reconstruction. Since 2010, Dr. Lied’s peers have acknowledged her as one of Cincinnati’s “Top Doctors”, an award given to recognize her proficiency and dedication to her profession.

Dr. Lied obtained her undergraduate degree from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, again graduating magna cum laude and being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (AOA). Following her graduation from medical school, Dr. Lied completed her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Cincinnati, where she served as Chief Resident, and gained additional surgical training in cosmetic procedures under the tutelage of some of America’s most respected cosmetic surgeons in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Lied is dedicated to continuing development and improvement in the field. Currently, she is a member of the plastic surgery staff, and she is also a volunteer assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the Shriners Hospital for Children in Cincinnati. She provides her patients with the highest quality of care through her attention to detail and technical ability in a compassionate environment. By utilizing both technical skills and compassion, they will receive safe, natural, and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.

Away from the office, Dr. Lied spends time with her husband and their three children, swimming, cooking, traveling, and playing tennis. Just as with her family and personal interests, she brings to her patients the same level of care, energy and attention to detail as she does for them.
