About Armando Davila, MD

Dr. Armando Davila is a Bilingual, fellowship-trained Plastic Surgeon specializing in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Face and Body. Dr. Davila was born in Orlando, Florida and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Engineering from the University of Florida. He then went on to earn his Medical Degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Prior to and during his time in medical school, he obtained a research fellowship where he published several articles on Acellular Dermal Matrices used in breast reconstruction, which subsequently became the basis for many of today’s accepted practices across the globe.

After completing his Integrated Plastic Surgery Training at Loma Linda University Health, home of the first Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program in the US, Dr. Davila obtained additional fellowship training in Complex Breast, Microsurgical and Robotic Reconstruction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While attending this program, he received advanced training in utilizing these new and cutting-edge technologies for performing Robotic and Microsurgical Techniques.

Dr. Davila has published over two dozen publications and presented numerous times as a MacArthur Award Winning Academic Surgeon. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Owner of The Pittsburgh Center for Plastic Surgery. Dr. Davila has received recognition for excellence in Plastic Surgery, including being named by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons for the years 2022 through 2025. Dr. Davila remains dedicated to providing the best possible care to his patients.
