About Alex Campbell, MD

Dr. Alex Campbell, MD, is a certified plastic surgeon in the United States who has set up practice in Cartagena, Colombia, and also serves as the co-founder of Premium Care Plastic Surgery, one of the premier centers for aesthetic surgery and medical tourism in Latin America. He has more than 20 years of experience in aesthetic plastic surgery and is known worldwide for his results with mommy makeovers, deep plane facelifts, and body contouring after weight loss, where he delivers natural and world-class results for patients from around the world.

Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, which led to his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society, along with graduating with honors. He then completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Southern California, which is known to be one of the busiest surgical programs in America. He subsequently completed a highly competitive residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at USC. Dr. Campbell finished his training with a fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery with Operation Smile, doing hundreds of complex reconstructive surgeries.

Dr. Campbell is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery, which brings an element of elite training and internationalism. His global humanitarian work is extensive and covers over 20 medical missions in India, Kenya, Egypt, and elsewhere.
