About Alexandrish Karvendrish Rodríguez Tavárez, MD

Dr. Alexandrish Karvendrish Rodríguez Tavárez is a physician who specializes in the field of Plastic Surgery. In 2008, she graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). In the same year, she completed a law internship at the Health Center of Santo Domingo, finishing it in 2009.

To train in a more specialized area, Dr. Karvendrish traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she studied for three years in General Surgery at the Santa Casa da Misericordia Hospital. In 2013, she studied her postgraduate studies at the Souza Marques Technical-Educational Foundation, specializing in aesthetic medicine, mainly cosmetic procedures. The following year, she began her advanced training in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery in the Postgraduate Service in Plastic Surgery Professor Ronaldo Pontes, from the Niterói D’or Hospital.

Now Dr. Karvendrish is developing her practice in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, at the Plastic Surgery and Liposculpture Clinic (CECILIP). Her training and clinical practice show a multidisciplinary approach to aesthetic and reconstructive care combining her background in surgical training as her foundation in medical aesthetics.
