About Australia Fragoso-Baez, MD

Dr. Australia Fragoso-Baez graduated cum laude from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) in the Dominican Republic as a plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon. She completed her residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (RENACIP) as a Chief Resident of Hospital Salvador B. Gautier of the Dominican Social Security Institute (IDSS). As a requirement for her residency, Dr. Fragoso-Baez completed an international rotation at the Institute of Reconstructive Surgery Dr. Guerrerosantos in Guadalajara, Mexico.

As part of her residency training, Dr. Fragoso-Baez competed in the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP) resident competition, where she placed second based on her academic excellence. Dr. Fragoso-Baez is a member of the following professional organizations: Dominican Medical College (CMD), Dominican Society of Surgery, Dominican Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (SODOCIPRE), FILACP, and IPRAS – International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.

Dr. Australia Fragoso-Baez has published numerous scientific articles in her field, presented at many national and international meetings, and continues to be involved in academic pursuits throughout Latin America. Dr. Fragoso-Baez provides a full array of reconstructive and aesthetic surgery procedures, specializing in body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, buttock lifting, and other cosmetic surgeries.
