About Alexandre Shwetz, MD

Dr. Alexandre Shwetz, MD (CRM‑PR 23810 | RQE 2277) is a board-certified plastic surgeon focusing on body contouring and post-pregnancy “Mommy Makeover” surgery. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP) and has received awards in the medical community for his contributions, including winning “Surgeon of the Year” by TOPVIEW magazine in 2019.

Dr. Shwetz combines technical skill with an eye toward artistry; he has trained with several world-renowned mentors in his field. Dr. Shwetz has trained in advanced body contouring with Dr. Alfredo Hoyos, who performed Lipo HD Total Definer, as well as learned breast surgery from Dr. John Tebbetts in the USA using the Dual Plane technique. He has studied with Dr. Henry Mentz in High Definition Body Plastic Surgery with a focus on HD Liposuction, and also with Dr. Ono in breast surgery with the Muscle Support Loop technique. He has studied advanced facial rejuvenation surgery techniques with Dr. Timothy Marten, USA.
