About Adham Farouk, MD, PhD

Professor Dr. Adham Farouk is a renowned plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgeon, as well as the chairman of the Plastic Surgery department at Alexandria University. Patient care and surgical excellence around the globe has been Dr. Farouk’s focus since 1971 when he began his career and the dedication to establishing the industry standards not only in Egypt but on an International level, as well. Dr. Farouk is a licenced plastic surgeon with a BA, MA, and PHD in plastic surgery, and he recieved his medical licensure in 1996.

Dr. Farouk is an internationally recognized expert who is an active member of many prestigious medical organizations, including: the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) and International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST). He is a Specialist in many specialties that he refers to as the foundation standards for plastic surgery associations all over the world.

At his Alexandria office, Dr. Farouk provides a complete range of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, from rhinoplasty to breast and body surgeries, correction of congenital anomalies, discrepancies of hand function, and burn reconstruction. His work mixes technical craftsmanship with artistic sensibility, while he maintains the highest respect from both patients and the surgical community.

Through his teaching, research, and surgical practice, Dr. Farouk is training the new generation of plastic surgeons within Egypt and internationally.
