About Adel Wilson, MD

Professor Dr. Adel Wilson is considered one of the foremost plastic and cosmetic surgeons across the globe. Dr. Wilson commenced his medical education at the University of London (1982) and is a cum laude graduate of Cairo University (1988) with a medical degree. He then completed training in one of the leading plastic surgical programs at University College London Hospitals (1994–1997), during which time he earned Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1995). He additionally became a faculty member of Cairo University in 1998 and has held the position of Professor and Chair of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Cairo University to date.

Dr. Wilson is also a senior member of the Court of Examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Additionally, he is a peer reviewer for several plastic surgery journals, which are all considered among the finest journals in the world. Dr. Wilson was presented in Who’s Who Medicine, in part, due to his having published 49 scientific articles, authored 7 book chapters, and developed 4 new original surgical procedures. Dr. Wilson has lectured and demonstrated operations on all 6 continents.

Dr. Wilson is dedicated to making aesthetic surgery a possibility for all, believing that “everyone should look and feel their best,” while he does travel frequently ,he is totally committed to his patients and his students and to his research program.
