About Anvar Ahmadov, MD

Dr. Anvar Ahmedov is a plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon practicing in Istanbul, Turkey, with a wealth of experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. He received his bachelor’s degree from Osh State University Medical Institute and completed training as a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, thus becoming a certified specialist in this field.

Dr. Ahmedov’s experience includes working in both academic and public hospital settings, including state/federal hospitals and university-owned hospitals and clinics and participating in the education of medical students and surgeons. His particular area of expertise lies within the face, breast and abdominal area, with special attention to body contour, breast enhancement and reconstruction, rhinoplasty, hand surgery, and reconstructive techniques.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Ahmedov continues to increase his knowledge about the art and science of plastic surgery through participation in numerous hands-on training and continuing education programs, formally accredited by professional medical associations in Turkey, to upgrade his knowledge about the latest techniques, products, and protocols used in rhinoplasty, microsurgery, hand surgery, and aesthetic surgery.

Not only does he participate in international/provincial meetings and conferences, but he is also an active member of both the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and the Turkish Society of Surgery. His methodical approach to surgery, attention to detail, and practice of patient education and safety are the cornerstones of his practice.
