About Altughan Cahit Vural, MD

Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, Dr. Altughan Cahit Vural was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1981. He graduated from the Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey, where he completed his medical training from 1999-2006. He started his Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery (PRA & A) Residency at Kırıkkale University, Turkey, in 2006, thus providing him with a strong foundation for both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

In his early years of practice, Dr. Vural achieved international experience when he worked with an eminent surgeon, James Mander, at Edinburgh Western General Hospital, where he acquired further training through a fellowship programme at the Istanbul Plastic Surgery Academy, the only sponsored fellowship in Turkey that trains for cosmetic surgery. During this fellowship, he had the opportunity to work with some of Turkey’s most prominent practitioners, including Prof. Dr. Atilla Oymak and Dr. Esin Aksungur.

Dr. Vural also has extensive experience managing Patient Care Services, and has served as a management CEO at Century Hospitals Group, as well as managing Medicana Çamlıca Hospital. Currently, he continues to provide his expertise to the patients at his private clinic located at Nişantaşı, as well as at Or-ahayim Balat Hospital.

Dr. Vural employs a highly meticulous method of practice augmented with artistic skill and knowledge to optimise patient care in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Outside the Hospital environment, he is devoted to being a loving husband and father to his two children.
