About Aysel Sanderson, MD

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Aysel K. Sanderson, has 30 years of experience in surgery for the face. After practicing surgery for years, her practice now focuses on non-surgical facial rejuvenation (Botox, Dermal Fillers, and Advanced Skincare Treatments). Dr. Sanderson delivers refined results that enhance each patient’s natural beauty using precision, artistry, and balance.

Dr. Sanderson operates a concierge service and provides a highly personalized and individualized level of patient care. All of her patients receive consultation, treatment, and follow-up appointments with Dr. Sanderson, which enables her to provide a high level of attention to detail and continuity of care. She believes in educating her patients about treatment options and takes the time to explain everything in an environment that is warm and supportive.

Her undergraduate degree in Microbiology was obtained from Cornell University, and she received her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Sanderson completed her General Surgery Residency and was Chief Resident at the University of Maryland Hospital before completing a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia. During her career, she has held various leadership positions within her field, including Chief of Surgery at Overlake Hospital and President of the Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons.
