About Allen Gabriel, MD, FACS

As an internationally recognized surgeon in the field of Plastic Surgery, with a degree from the University of Vermont and board certification by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Allen Gabriel practices in Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon, among other locations. He is widely acclaimed for the quality of his work and the artistry of his craft, consistently producing natural-looking results that are tailored to each patient’s unique anatomy, goals, and desires.

Dr. Gabriel completed his training at the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency program at Loma Linda University, where he served as chief resident. While there, he also volunteered for humanitarian organizations and participated in numerous medical missions throughout Central America, South America, and other countries as a member of Operation Good Samaritan. After completing his residency, he received additional training through a fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic Surgery at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, under the direction of Dr. Patrick Maxwell. During this time, Dr. Gabriel developed specialized expertise in both aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and has continued to expand his knowledge base through clinical research.

Dr. Gabriel is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has published over 36 chapters and peer-reviewed articles. He has received several awards, including the Humanism in Medicine Award and the RealSelf 100 Top Doctors 2016.

Dr. Allen and Cassie Gabriel founded The Pink Lemonade Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists breast cancer survivors by providing them with emotional, psychological, and practical support. Dr. Gabriel combines clinical excellence, compassion, and artistry to effect change in people’s lives and support them on their journey at every phase of healing.
