About Ali R. Abtahi, DO, MSc

Dr. Ali R. Abtahi, DO, MSc, is a talented plastic and reconstructive surgeon serving patients from Dallas, Plano, Southlake, and Fort Worth, Texas. He has spent over ten years trained at the highest levels of surgical instruction and many more in the service of our nation’s military. Dr. Abtahi is recognized for his consistent skill and precision, natural artistic vision, and fervent dedication to delivering naturalistic, high-quality results. His specialty areas are rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, mommy makeovers, as well as aesthetic surgery that are individualized and detailed.

Dr. Abtahi cares deeply about the core values that define his practice: solid doctor-patient relationships and honest, individualized, patient-centric care, resulting in a positive, productive healing environment. Dr. Abtahi believes in a relationship in which he truly and authentically takes the time to get to know the patient, and this helps to build trust in the relationship while using the doctor-patient relationship as a means to get the patient’s goals addressed without scaring the process or overselling services. The office team believes in creating a knowledgeable, informed experience within a friendly, welcoming wellness environment focused on patient healing, and starting with being able to have the patients feel beautiful and healthy – inside and out.

Dr. Abtahi received his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and he completed his General Surgery residency training at Wright State University, where he won numerous teaching and humanism awards. He completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at the University of Iowa, where he served as Chief Resident twice, and then the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery awarded him the opportunity to complete an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship.
