About Agustin Cornejo, MD

Dr. Agustín Cornejo, better known as Dr. Latin Heat™, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is known for his attention to detail, artistry, and patient-centered care. Dr. Cornejo practices at Chrysalis Surgery Center in the Stone Oak area and has more than ten years of experience in performing more than 2,500 facial, breast, and body procedures with success.

Dr. Cornejo graduated with honors from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in 2006. Following this, he continued his education with a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, also earning high marks in the area of research and teaching. Subsequently, Dr. Cornejo continued to develop his skills and training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, with top-notch plastic surgeons.

Since his return to San Antonio in 2017, Dr. Cornejo has established himself as a trustworthy authority in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery because he has a customized approach to procedures to enhance natural beauty with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. He can communicate with his incredibly diverse clientele because he is bilingual in English and Spanish.
