About Abdulla Fakhro, MD, FACS

Dr. Abdulla Fakhro, MD, FACS, is an accomplished plastic and reconstructive surgeon located in Houston, Texas, affiliated with several world-renowned hospitals, including Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and the Memorial Hermann Hospital System. He obtained his degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and has more than 12 years of experience in the field. He is proficient in Arabic. His areas of interest and expertise are aesthetic and cosmetic plastic surgery, breast reconstruction surgery, microsurgery, and facial reconstructive surgery, and he comes with several additional years of experience in rhinoplasty, hand surgery, and Mohs reconstruction.

Dr. Fakhro’s principles are based on the following tenets: compassion, honesty, and excellence. Dr. Fakhro received his medical training in Dublin and completed his general surgery training at the University of Pennsylvania, and therefore completed plastic surgery training at the Baylor College of Medicine at the prestigious Texas Medical Center. He also underwent surgical rotations at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children’s Hospital and Houston Methodist Hospital.

In his quest as an eternal, hungry learner, Dr. Fakhro has made contributions to surgical education globally through research, writing and lecturing at regional and international conferences.
