Dr. Andrew Friedman is a plastic surgeon who has been practicing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for almost 30 years. Dr. Friedman provides a full range of body procedures, including breast surgeries, abdomen surgeries, liposuction, facial rejuvenation, and complex reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Friedman’s primary goal throughout his time as a physician has always been the same: to provide his patients with an exceptional outcome that enhances their confidence, functionality, and quality of life.
Dr. Friedman spent the early part of his career at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he taught residents and managed patients with difficult injuries while continually developing his skills as a hand surgeon, reconstructive surgeon, and cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Friedman is proud to have served in the United States Army as a member of the reserves while he was completing his residency. After completing his residency, Dr. Friedman went on active duty with the Army. During his time in the Army, Dr. Friedman completed three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and had a two-year assignment to South Korea as the senior physician in charge of the health of all U.S. troops stationed in South Korea. Following this, Dr. Friedman served as the Army’s Senior Plastic Surgeon and as a consultant to the Army Surgeon General.
Dr. Friedman is board-certified in three areas: General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Outside of being a physician, Dr. Friedman is the husband of Kay and the father of eight children. He leads an active lifestyle and has taken part in many long-distance cycling treks.
