About Arthur W. Perry, MD, FACS

Arthur W. Perry, MD, FACS, is a highly trained plastic surgeon with over 30 years of experience as a practicing clinician in New York City. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University and received his M.D. with honors for his research work at Albany Medical College (Albany, NY). Dr. Perry completed his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Medical Center (Harvard Medical School), followed by a one-year burn fellowship program at New York Presbyterian/Cornell Medical Center, then he finished his plastic surgery residency at the University of Chicago, serving as Chief Resident, and completed further fellowship training in cosmetic surgery in Miami.

Today, Dr. Perry’s clinical practice consists solely of performing aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery of the facial and body parts. His practice includes the following types of aesthetics: rhinoplasty (nose job), facelift, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation/reduction/mastopexy (surgical lifting of the breasts), liposuction, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), and non-surgical injectable cosmetic treatments. He operates out of the following locations in Manhattan, New York: a full-service office located at Park Ave. and Greenwich St. Surgical Center (Greenwich Village). He performs his surgical procedures at Lenox Hill and Manhattan Eye and Ear hospitals.

In addition to Dr. Perry’s private practice work, he is an accomplished educator and has held teaching positions at Columbia University and Rutgers University, and he has published original peer-reviewed scientific research. He has written several books on cosmetic surgery, has served as an advisor on medical board regulations, and has received recognition from various national professional organizations.
