About Anthony C. Berlet, MD

Dr. Anthony C. Berlet is a plastic and general surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of General Surgery. He has over 32 years of experience treating patients with aesthetic as well as reconstructive surgical procedures. Dr. Berlet’s philosophy is to restore rather than transform his patients and to allow them to look refreshed, with their individual characteristics preserved.

Drawing on his background in architecture, Dr. Berlet uses a sensibility for proportions, balance, and art in his practices. His philosophy of aesthetics is to provide subtle enhancements and give long-lasting results, instead of following trends and creating overcorrections. Many patients describe Dr. Berlet’s work as elegant, understated and restoring self-confidence.

Dr. Berlet’s main area of expertise is in performing facial rejuvenation procedures, including deep plane facelifts, SMAS lifts, mini facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasties, facial fat grafting, and chin enhancement. In addition to his expertise in facial rejuvenation, he has a complete body contouring practice, breast surgery, mommy makeovers and a wide range of nonsurgical treatment options, including injectables, laser resurfacing, and microneedling.

While the majority of Dr. Berlet’s practice today is focused on cosmetic procedures, the foundation of his practice in reconstructive surgery, such as trauma repairs and skin cancer reconstructions, continues to influence his careful technique and patient-centered care. Dr. Berlet has offices in New Jersey and New York City, with a Fifth Avenue office opening in 2025. He is highly regarded for his honesty, precision and compassionate approach to his patients’ needs and desired results. He views each procedure as an opportunity to provide a patient with their best possible result while maintaining the individuality of the patient.
