About Anthony J. Wilson, MD

Dr. Anthony J. Wilson, M. D., is a board-certified physician specializing in cosmetic surgery and has founded A W Plastic Surgery located in Portsmouth, NH. Dr. Wilson has always had an interest in the sciences and medicine since childhood. After completing his undergraduate studies at Harvard University, he went on to complete his medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. He then performed residency training in both general and cosmetic surgery at both the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Wilson is also certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Wilson is well known for his ability to specialize in facial aging and aesthetic rejuvenation techniques. He specializes in customized facial plastic surgeries, including minimally invasive submuscular attachment (SMAS) facelift techniques, often in combination with upper eyelid surgery, neck lift, and facial liposuction for a more natural and balanced appearance. The combination of these techniques helps achieve the natural look to the patient and creates a rejuvenated appearance by addressing structural as well as surface-based factors of the aging process through a combination of surgical and non-surgical methods.

Additionally, Dr. Wilson also provides body contouring procedures such as liposuction, breast augmentation, and tummy tucks to help patients achieve their individual body contouring needs based on their personal goals and lifestyle.
