About Aamir Siddiqui, M.D.

Located in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Aamir Siddiqui, MD, is a plastic surgeon with a hand surgery specialty. He has over 25 years of experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and is affiliated with Henry Ford Hospital and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and is also part of the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in both Plastic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Siddiqui graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, then completed a general surgery residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital before completing a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at the University of Louisville. His special interests included body contouring, breast reconstruction and modification, facial rejuvenation, surgery of the hand and upper extremity, and advanced wound care.

Dr. Siddiqui’s care philosophy emphasizes collaboration, encouraging patients to participate in their own treatment plans. His research interests include pressure ulcer prevention, body contour surgery, and hand reconstruction.
