About Andrea Van Pelt, MD

Partners in Plastic Surgery of West Michigan has Dr. Andrea Van Pelt as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, providing all types of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the face, breasts, and body. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, where she was recognized as an honors graduate in her surgical training. After working on her general surgical training level at a major university, she completed her residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Her training included one year dedicated specifically to research in three-dimensional imaging for the face and craniofacial area, which she conducted in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.

Dr. Van Pelt trained under world-renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr. W. Grant Stevens when she completed a prestigious fellowship in cosmetic surgery and laser surgery at the Marina Del Rey, California, medical practice of Stevens.

She specializes in a variety of surgical procedures, including facelifts, browlifts, eyelid surgery, nose jobs, breast augmentation and breast lift, male breast reduction and female breast reduction, tummy tuck, mommy makeover, body contouring, liposuction, as well as non-surgical facial rejuvenation using both Botox and fillers.

In addition to being highly regarded for her patient-first philosophy, Dr. Van Pelt is known for providing natural appearing results that boost confidence and self-esteem.

Along with her practice, Dr. Van Pelt is very active in educating others about aesthetic surgery and plastic surgery through presentations at both national and international conferences, as well as co-authoring books and chapters in the leading Textbooks on Plastic Surgery. In addition to her professional life, Dr. Van Pelt enjoys painting, hiking, traveling and seeing new places in Michigan with her husband.
