Dr. Anne Marie Nickodem is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has specialised in breast and cosmetic surgery for patients located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Dr. Nickodem received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University. After completing her general surgery training at St Vincent’s Medical Center of New York, Dr Nickodem worked for one year as an Emergency Room Trauma Surgeon before returning to Georgetown University Hospital for residency training in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Nickodem became the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, D.C. after finishing her training, honing her leadership abilities and dedication to patient care. She has extensive experience performing breast surgeries, as well as involvement in numerous clinical research studies that have investigated both saline and silicone gel breast implants.
Dr. Nickodem is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is a lifetime member of Who’s Who in America.
Dr. Nickodem’s office is conveniently located close to the Tysons Corner area of Virginia, and she has admitting and operating privileges at multiple hospitals in Northern Virginia and in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she remains dedicated to providing health care services to less fortunate patients through her volunteer medical work abroad.
