Dr. Aditya Sood is a board-certified plastic surgeon who is a proud native of Chicago and is known for precision, artistry, and patient-centered care. He received his undergraduate degree, where he double majored in Finance and Chemistry, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and later received his M.D., with Distinction in Research, from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science – Chicago Medical School. At the same time, he earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship at Benedictine University in 2011.
Dr. Sood completed an elite 6-year integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Rutgers University – New Jersey Medical School, then pursued an Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University – Wexner Medical Center, where he was trained in advanced techniques in facial, breast, and body aesthetics.
Dr. Sood has made substantial academic and clinical contributions to the field through over 50 peer-reviewed publications, 9 book chapters, and 35 academic presentations nationally and internationally. His expertise lies in aesthetic surgery, post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, facial trauma, minor procedures, gender affirming surgery, and hair restoration.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and continues mentorship through research and innovation. He is dedicated to achieving safe, natural and transformative results.
