Dr. Alton Earl Ingram Jr. is a double board-certified Cosmetic Surgeon and Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is well-known for his expertise in Cosmetic Surgery of the Face and Body. He graduated from Yale University with degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy with Honors, and he is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a National Merit Scholar.
Dr. Ingram received his medical education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he matched directly into a plastic surgery residency program-one of only three in the United States in the same year. He has also travelled internationally to learn from leading experts in the field, such as Ivo Pitanguy in Brazil and Laurent Lantieri in France. Dr. Ingram completed different fellowships in Cosmetic Surgery and Breast Reconstruction at Baptist Hospital and Facial Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Ingram limits himself to the highest quality procedures and performs them at an elite level: breast augmentation, breast lifts and reductions, abdominoplasties, Brazilian butt lifts (BBLs), facelifts and eyelid surgeries. He serves as a Trustee of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, chair of the Cosmetic Surgery Safety and BBL Safety Committees, and Patient Safety Editor of the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Ingram is known for combining technical skill with artistic sensibility.
