Dr. Anh Vu is a certified physician in the specialty of plastic surgery and serves as an associate professor in the department of surgery at the University of Central Florida. He has a wealth of experience in the practice and performs surgeries with compassion and a patient-centered mentality so that each patient feels secure in their journey.
Dr. Vu was raised in the Pacific Northwest and completed undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Kansas. He received his M.D. from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed a five-year general surgery residency at two Level-One Trauma Centers in Wichita, Kansas, where he gained extensive surgical experience. Following the general surgery residency program, he completed training in plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery through the fellowship program at the Medical College of Georgia and completed a cosmetic fellowship with one of the largest plastic surgery groups in the country.
In addition to his training, Dr. Vu is actively involved in research to develop new techniques to improve patient recovery, reduce healing time, and increase the overall quality of life for patients. Dr. Vu is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, which continually allows him to maintain the highest quality of education and knowledge in the field.
