About Anne-Sophie Lessard, MD

Dr. Anne-Sophie Lessard is a certified specialist in the areas of both Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery. A skilled professional with more than 10 years of experience, she specializes in breast contouring (Augmentation, Lift, Reduction, Revision) as well as Body Contouring (Abdominoplasty, Liposuction, Mommy Makeover, Vaginal Rejuvenation, Arm & Thigh Lift) and Non-Surgical Procedures such as Botox and Fillers.

She completed her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at McGill University and a Hand and Microsurgical Fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, after which Dr. Lessard served as Assistant Professor in Complex Reconstructive Surgery and Surgical Education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In addition to treating complex cases of reconstructive surgery, Dr. Lessard has treated many challenging patients during her time at the Veterans Affairs Hospital for Veterans.

Dr. Lessard is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Board-Certified Member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She has written extensively in multiple Medical Journals, including research on Breast Reconstruction after Liposuction and Aesthetic Hand Rejuvenation. She is active in Peer Review and serves on committees for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Hand Surgeons and the American Association for Hand Surgery.

Dr. Lessard is recognized as a Young Leader by the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, combining an artistic vision with surgical skill and a compassionate approach to patient care and tailoring every procedure to the individual patient.
