About Abdollah Malek, MD

Dr. Malek was born in Tehran, Iran, and spent a year in North Dakota as an exchange student before graduating from Tehran University School of Medicine in 1976. After graduation, he became board-certified in general surgery and soon after became board-certified in plastic surgery. He earned a fellowship at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas, specializing in head, neck, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. He opened his practice in Wilmington in 1984.

Dr. Malek integrates technical precision with surgical artistry in his practice. He offers a broad array of procedures, including liposuction, fat transfer, blepharoplasty, and breast lifts, in addition to cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries focusing on results that seem completely natural and well-balanced.
