Dr. Ashton Kaidi, MD, is a plastic surgeon Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
Dr. Kaidi received his medical degree in California from Loma Linda University Medical Center. He completed his general surgery residency at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, which was affiliated with the University of Michigan, and then returned to Loma Linda University for his selected additional training in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery.
While a resident, he served as a National Delegate with the Association of American Medical Colleges, representing the discipline of plastic surgery. Also during his residency, Dr. Kaidi won the Frank Rogers Outstanding Academic Award from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for his excellence in academic study. He has authored and had numerous articles, papers and presentations on the subject of plastic surgery published or presented nationally in numerous medical journals, including “Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery” and “Seminars in Plastic Surgery”.
Dr. Kaidi has been part of the clinical faculty at both the University of California, Irvine Medical Center and previously held the position of Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, California.
