About Alex N. Lechtman, MD

Alex N. Lechtman, MD, FACS, is a plastic surgeon who is board-certified and has more than twenty years of experience providing expert and compassionate care in the Central Valley. The areas Dr. Lechtman specializes in include breast augmentation, breast reduction and breast lift, tummy tuck, face lift and brow lift, and ultrasonic liposuction. He enjoys helping individuals achieve their specific aesthetic and body sculpting goals.

Dr. Lechtman is the only plastic surgeon in Tulare County who has hospital privileges. It means that he provides care in fully accredited facilities and stands by the highest level of safety and quality. This hard-earned privilege indicates that Dr. Lechtman has successfully passed multiple rigorous peer reviews and verification of his skill set, thus being able to provide care in the infrequent instance that a patient needs to be admitted to the hospital.

After completing medical school, Dr. Lechtman completed six years of a general surgery residency and then an additional two years of specialized training in plastic surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This sets him apart from cosmetic surgeons who do not have the same level of surgical training, nor do they earn the same certification.
