About Ashkan Ghavami, MD

Dr. Ashkan Ghavami (M.D. FACS) is an internationally acclaimed board-certified plastic surgeon who currently practices in Beverly Hills, California. His practice is known for achieving truly impressive results, yet keeping a natural appearance. Dr. Ghavami has developed a philosophy of keeping patients’ expectations from getting too high (which he coined as keeping them “guessing”), and has developed a reputation as an expert in several areas, including ”Flash Recoveries” for breast augmentation, S-Curve butt lifts, the REGENELift technique for facial rejuvenation, as well as innovative methods of rhinoplasty. As a result, celebrities and other patients traveling from abroad are seeking out Dr. Ghavami for their surgical procedures.

Dr. Ghavami received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and his plastic surgery residency from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, as well as completing fellowship training in hand and reconstructive microsurgery. He has performed over 8000 rhinoplasties, with a vision of promoting ethnic unity and achieving aesthetic balance, and as such, Dr. Ghavami has written a book on the subject, titled Global Rhinoplasty: A Multicultural Approach.

Dr. Ghavami is the current President of the Rhinoplasty Society, co-director of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship of Los Angeles, and is also dedicated to teaching fellows from all around the world. In addition to publishing an extensive list of peer-reviewed articles, he has been invited to lecture and demonstrate surgical techniques internationally, including serving as a member of various task forces on the safety of buttock augmentation.
