About Aaron Stone, MD

Dr. Aaron Stone, MD, a certified and seasoned cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon, has practiced in the Los Angeles area for twenty years. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, completed a five-year general surgery residency, and a two-year residency in plastic surgery at Wayne State University’s Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. He then completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship from the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York City. Dr. Stone traveled to São Paulo, Brazil, for additional training in complex and distinctive procedures at the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo.

Dr. Stone has clinical interests in elective surgery, reconstructive surgery, and revision surgery of the eyes, face, nose, ear, breast, abdomen, and thigh. He is also interested in caring for patients with hidradenitis suppurativa, keloid scars, and pectus excavatum. Dr. Stone has a passion for service, and he is a volunteer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center plastic surgery clinic, caring for the needs of underserved patients, and a Providence tattoo removal program that helps patients change their lives away from gang affiliation.

Dr. Stone also works as an author, speaker, and reviewer for the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal. He is a lifelong martial artist practicing and teaching Aikido, Iaido, and Wing Chun. His philosophy of patient care is to provide care with compassion, personalization, and lifelong learning in education.
