About Afshin Parhiscar, MD

With more than a dozen years in private practice, Dr. Afshin Parhiscar is a skilled Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon to the extent that his unique combination of surgical accuracy and artistic vision enables patients to achieve natural, stunning, and durable results. His experience allows him to hold two board certifications through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Both of the certifying boards offer the highest and most progressive certifications in the country.

Dr. Parhiscar received his Doctor of Medicine, graduating with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he developed strong fundamentals in both biochemistry and human anatomy. His intrigue with the complexity of the head and neck fueled a desire to pursue further surgical training, a program that afforded him to train and develop his surgical skills in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

With elements of compassion, artistry and science, Dr. Parhiscar believes plastic and reconstructive surgery is both a technical and emotional journey in helping patients change their bodies, and their lives improve overall. He is passionate about providing individualized care, clear communication and careful attention to detail from the first consultation to when the patient is fully healed.
